Your child's exciting journey toward academic excellence starts here. Begin the Admissions Process to our school in a few simple steps
Contact Us
Prospective parents are invited to make an enquiry through our school website.
If you are an existing family, or have already visited our school and are ready to complete the application, please complete the application form.
Visit the School
Parents, and students when possible, are encouraged to visit the campus for a daytime tour of our state-of-the-art facilities. As part of your visit, you will explore the phase your child is due to enter and experience a day in the life of a Reddam House Durbanville student.
Completing your Application
Should you wish to proceed with the application process, please advise the Admissions Officer. You will receive a Welcome email advising of how to log into the portal and complete the application process.
Document Submission
In order to complete your application, relevant documentation will need to be uploaded to the application portal. These include the applicant’s birth certificate, vaccination card, latest academic report, as well as copies of parents' or guardians' IDs.
Placement Test
Once the application fee has been paid, students applying for placement from Stage 5 to Grade 2 are invited to Spend a Day at school. This is an opportunity for the child to spend time with peers and for the teacher to assess them in a relaxed, informal and friendly environment.
All applicants applying for admission from Grade 3 to 12 are required to write a Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4). These assessments are designed to uncover students academic potential and better understand their learning preference.
Meet and Greet
A meeting with the relevant Head of School, or a designated staff member, is scheduled. We offer a Spend-a-Day experience from Stage 3 to Grade 11 applicants. The student will spend time in their current grade to experience a day in the life of a Reddam House student.
Acceptance
The school will issue a Letter of Acceptance to successful applicants. A non-refundable placement fee is required and should be paid within 14 days to secure the student’s placement at the school.
Parents are required to sign an agreement with the school and submit financial arrangement, medical and dietary information.
Onboarding
On receipt of the non-refundable placement fee and required registration documents, the Admissions Officer will send relevant Onboarding information including subject choices, stationery, text book and general day to day information pertaining to Reddam House.
