Márjó Prins

Head of Early Learning & Junior Preparatory


After completing 5 years of study: Junior Primary, Pre-primary (HDE) and Learners with Special Educational Needs (FDE LSEN), Márjó started her teaching career in the UK. She lived there for three years teaching Reception and Year 3, as well as being the Art coordinator, before moving to Hout Bay. At the International School of Cape Town she taught Reception and Year 3, whilst overseeing the Learning Support programme and then moved to Durbanville to join ISCT Tygerberg.

A highly experienced, motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic Head, Márjó has played an integral part in the genesis of the Early Learning School since 2004 and has been actively involved in the growth and development of this phase of the school for over a decade. Her calm, assertive, consultative leadership can be felt throughout the school.

Márjó aims to ensure children love coming to school, are genuinely excited about learning, are confident to explore, participate, enjoy healthy self-esteem and most importantly, respect themselves and others. A key aspect of her approach involves clear, ongoing communication with children and parents. In this crucial early learning stage, every new experience is a priceless investment in laying a solid foundation for the future. Few would argue the tremendous potential impact of this phase on life outcomes, which will eventually form that firm foundation of their lifelong journey.

Jen Patrick

Head of Senior Preparatory and College


Jen Patrick has been a key member of our academic leadership team since 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Microbiology and has been passionate about teaching since beginning her career in 2007 as a Physical Science teacher at Sans Souci.

In 2010, Jen joined Chesterhouse International, where she was appointed Head of Chemistry in 2013. In 2021 she took on the role as Deputy Head and Head of Academics and, most recently, assumed the role of Head of College and Senior Preparatory in 2025.

Jen is committed to creating an environment where children are excited to come to school, and eager to learn. Jen believes that transparency and open communication are key to a successful school. Management, Teachers and Parents need to work as a team to ensure that the students achieve success. Jen believes a successful school depends on high-quality teaching and learning, led by passionate, well-trained teachers who continually grow through collaboration. A student-centered approach ensures that every child is supported academically, emotionally, and socially, with opportunities to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

BARRY NIEUWOUDT, EXECUTIVE HEAD

Barry Nieuwoudt

Executive Head


Barry Nieuwoudt, Executive Head, comes from an educational family, where his father was the Western Cape Education Department Area Director and his mom a Director at the College of Cape Town.  Education is in his blood and he soon followed suit by studying Business with specialisation in Education at University of Stellenbosch.

He started his teaching career at Parel Vallei High School in Somerset West as an IT and Business Studies teacher.  Barry was also a passionate rugby coach and excelled in this regard heading up various Western Cape sides yearly to compete in Italy at the Aldo Milani Club in Rovigo. 

He then moved to Reddam House Atlantic Seaboard as a founding member of the school in 2003 as Deputy Head.  Barry spent the next 7 years at Atlantic Seaboard before moving out of education for 5 years into the business world.  He then rejoined Reddam House family setting up the Durbanville campus as Executive Head of the school.

His wife, Sonja, has her own Design Company and they have two beautiful boys, Ben-Luca & Nicola.

Ravi Nadasen

Before joining Inspired, Ravi worked as Chief Operating Officer at Tsogo Sun Hotels, Africa’s leading hotel group. His tertiary education started at the Durban University of Technology (then ML Sultan Technikon) where he obtained a National Diploma in Hotel Management. Some years later he obtained his BTech Management at the University, and concurrently completed the Advanced Business Programme. More recently in 2018 he obtained his MBA from the University of Stellenbosch. He was also fortunate to attend IMD (Institute for Management Development) in Switzerland for two eight-week blocks, where he did a leadership programme.

He has been and is very active in tourism bodies, having been on the board of Cape Town Tourism and a board member of the CT Chamber of Commerce while in Cape Town. He is currently the interim Chairperson of South African Tourism, the Deputy Chairperson and board member of the Tourism Business Council of SA. He was reappointed by the Minister of Tourism for a second term as a member of the B-BBEE Charter Council to  advise on the state of transformation in industry.

Nadim M Nsouli founded Inspired in 2013 with the goal of creating a leading global group of premium schools. Starting with Inspired’s first acquisition of Reddam House, a leading group of schools in South Africa, Nadim rapidly expanded the group globally via a series of acquisitions and building greenfield schools while maintaining the focus on only having the best schools around the world as part of the group.

Prior to founding Inspired, Nadim was a partner at Providence Equity Partners, a private equity firm with $40 billion under management. Nadim was also a member of Providence's Global Investment Committee and led Providence's Education investment efforts in Europe and the Middle East. Prior to joining Providence in 2006, Nadim was the European head of The Gores Group, a special situations private equity fund based in Los Angeles. Previously, Nadim was a member of the media and telecommunications investment banking teams of Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan in London. Nadim started his career in New York as a corporate lawyer at Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue.

Nadim received a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD with distinction, a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science (magna cum laude) from Georgetown University.
